On Saturday, December 29, 2007 Paul and Sandy were presented with an award from The Samaritan Medal Foundation in honor of their great work and everything Paul's Kids is doing for children in Vietnam.
The Samaritan Medal for Peace and Humanitarian Achievement is
awarded for distinguished service, and Paul and Sandy are appreciative and humbled by the recognition. Paul says, "Sandy and I are honored, and receiving this award made today a great day for us and Paul's Kids."

To date, 14 publications have published articles about about Paul's Kids and the August 2007 grand opening of Go Vap Orphanage’s new exercise and physical therapy
room - check them out here. Most articles are written in Vietnamese, but we've translated a few of the main messages below.
In April 2007, Paul was featured in the popular Vietnamese news
publication, Lao Dong. The article praised Paul and Sandy's work with
Vietnamese children and talked about their involvement in the Angelina
Jolie adoption.
