PK Wear - Put on a Little Paul’s Kids

We’ve received lots of requests from friends and donors for PK clothing and gear. So that you can show your Paul’s Kids pride and help spread the word about helping kids in Vietnam, we’re introducing PK Wear!

We have t-shirts, long sleeves tees, and sweatshirts in youth (S, M, L) and adult sizes (S, M, L, XL, XXL, and 3XL). Check out the merchandise here.

And they’re affordable:

To place your order, follow these easy steps:

1. Donate the amount of your order online. (Please add $5-$10 to your donation to cover shipping costs.)
2. You will receive a payment confirmation email, which you will forward to Paul at paul@paulskids.org with the size(s) you want and your full shipping address.
3. You’ll receive your shipment in 5-10 days and then you can put on your new gear and show your PK pride!

Sell on eBay, Help Paul’s Kids

Do you sell your wares on eBay? Well now while you sell, you can support Paul’s Kids through eBay Giving Works, the program dedicated to charity listings on eBay. Paul’s Kids is now in eBay’s nonprofit directory—check it out!

Here’s how it works: When you sell an item on eBay, you can choose to donate 10 to 100 percent of its final sale price to Paul’s Kids. (There is a $5 minimum donation required if the item sells.)  The percentage  will be donated to Paul’s Kids and a tax receipt will be issued to you by Mission Fish, who administers this program for eBay.  Mission Fish will also notify Paul’s Kids of your donation.
 
Next time you create your eBay listing, look for the eBay Giving Works option to select Paul’s Kids. For more information, visit the Giving Works site.

Schools Get Involved with Paul’s Kids!

McKeesport Area High School in Pennsylvania is leading the charge for schools to raise funds for PK’s Save A Life program. Students there are working hard this school year to “Act Local – Think Global,” and PK is grateful to be part of their effort.

But this good work doesn’t have stop with high schools – anyone can help! Whether you have kids or grandkids who are in school, in a club like girl scouts/boy scouts, part of a sports team, church or community group—we welcome anyone to help raise funds for PK’s Save A Life program! Here are some fundraising ideas:

•     Host a spaghetti dinner
•     Recycle ink cartridges or cell phones
•     Children’s artwork on a stamp or postcard
•     School car wash
•     Sell PKakes or PKookies
•     Tag sale or school auction
•     Rubber Duck Derby
•     Pancake breakfast
•     Read-A-Thon/Walk-A-thon/Dance-A-Thon

Fun ways for kids to Help Paul's Kids!

School's out and this summer there are lots of great ways that kids can help raise money for Paul's Kids! Here are some fun and simple ideas:

Set up a Paul's Kids Lemonade Stand - Everyone loves a cool, refreshing cup of lemonade on a hot summer day. So, whip up a few pitchers and head outside to help raise money for kids in Vietnam!


PK Bake Sale - Cookies are a great way to put a smile on someone's face. Bake a few batches of cookies (or as we like to call them, PKookies!) and take sell them at the park, your church, or your next swim meet. You can also sell PKakes, PKpies, or PKandies to help support Paul's Kids!

Yard Sale - Summer's a great time of year to clean up your room and clear out your closet. Do you have clothes that you've grown out of? What about old toys or books that you don't use anymore? Gather your old things and set up  a PK yard sale in your front yard to help raise money for children in Vietnam.

1st Annual PK Run/Walk-A-Thon

Paul’s Kids 1st annual run/walk-a-thon is coming up this July and is a fun and fit way for anyone to help raise money for children in Vietnam. This year we’ll hold the run/walk-a-thon as a do-it-yourself event during the first week in July. Tell family and friends, collect pledges, and get in as many miles or laps as you can during the first week of July to raise money for PK!

Our goal is to help fund the Save A Life program that sponsors poor kids in need of life saving heart surgeries in Vietnam. We hope that you can participate!
